Job Description

The Store Manager is responsible for maximizing store sales and exceeding sales objectives. He or she must understand the natural health industry and continuously strive to expand their current knowledge and expertise.

Major responsibilities include: 

  • Recruiting, Training, Disciplining, Scheduling all full-time and part-time staff
  • Carefully managing all aspects of inventory
  • Attend company and external product training and maintain and expand current knowledge and expertise of products and natural health and wellness
  • Promote the company as a knowledgeable and trustworthy service oriented company
  • Promote health and wellness while treating clients with respect and integrity at all times
  • Resolve any client complaints or problems
  • Complete and submit accurate and timely reports on all aspects of store operations as required/requested
  • Create a positive atmosphere in keeping with the company’s mission and values of openness, productivity, creativity, and growth

Job Requirements

  • Previous store management experience in a retail environment
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales goals and targets
  • Solid knowledge of the natural health industry and good overall medical understanding
  • Superior leadership and people management skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Strong ability to make effective independent decisions to business situations
  • Post-secondary education in Natural Health is an asset
