Job Description

The SEO Manager will work closely with the Director of Digital Marketing to develop and execute SEO strategy. He or she will utilize SEO best practices to drive high quality traffic and be responsible for analyzing and improving upon SEO performance.

Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering detailed and actionable analytic reports and strategic recommendations to aid marketing decision making and drive business performance.
  • Work closely with the director of digital marketing and key stakeholders to develop comprehensive SEO roadmaps for SMB clients
  • Consult with the development team to troubleshoot technical SEO issues
  • Provide SEO training to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and all applicable technologies, including developments in – SEO, social media, PPC, analytics, online marketing, E-commerce, and online consumer behaviour

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing Management or equivalent relevant experience
  • SEO experience specifically in SMB
  • Google Analytics Certifications required
  • An enthusiastic SEO pro with at least 2-5 years experience
  • Expert with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and tools such as MOZ, Screaming Frog, and Keyword Ranking tools
  • Strong writing skills, ability to craft clear and compelling content
  • An excellent communicator with attention to detail and know-how in performing audits, keyword research, UX, understanding metrics that matter
