Job Description

The installation and maintenance manager plans and administrates the work of installation and service personnel under him and works in a broad range of commercial enterprises. He is responsible for recruiting and instructing the installation associates and workers and ensuring that they follow the rules and regulations of the company. He must inspect the sites prior to installations and conduct tests on the equipment once the installation process has been completed.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the associates
  • Ensuring that the company’s installation targets are met
  • Working with the field service administrators, such as subcontractors, who help with installation and maintenance
  • Executing installation undertakings
  • Assessing the installation tasks and solving any issues
  • Working with the client to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Executing cost effective installation projects
  • Providing the associates of the company with daily input and creative suggestions in regards to the installation methods and procedures being used
  • Frequent travel

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelors degree in mechanical stream
  • 3 years installation and supervisory working experience is mandatory
  • 2 years logistic management experience
  • 4 years experience of managing sub-contractors and installation staff
  • Ideally 3 years experience in installation start-up company
  • Highly logical, excel in process optimization, and have attention to detail
  • Good understanding of CAD drawings and conception
  • Good administrative, time management and analytical skills
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast environment
  • Must have good creative, communicative, and presentation skills
  • Basic computer knowledge with MS office and IT networking People management skills
