Job Description

The Content Strategist will be responsible for developing innovative and emotive connections between brands and audiences. In this role, they will need to use their knowledge of digital content, video production, and emerging media trends. This individual must be high energy, creative and entrepreneurial with an obsession for media innovation and a proven track record of developing big ideas that strengthen client relationships and drive revenue.

Major Responsibilities:

  • The Content Strategist will work directly with Media Solutions Operations to actively oversee and participate in the execution of branded content programs.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments, including: Marketing, Operations, Digital Publishing, Programming, International
  • Constantly seek to develop big ideas to drive maximum value for clients, and partners
  • Be on the cutting edge – constantly challenging the team and clients with innovative ideas
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and proactive ideation for our partners and teammates
  • Drive the creation and delivery of client-facing presentations and RFP responses
  • Understand and analyze campaign reports and KPI tracking and provide strategic recommendations

Job Requirements

  • Deliver digital-first content programs with a focus on creative idea development
  • Proven ability to conceive and implement unique and creative content marketing programs for multiple screens and consumer touchpoints
  • Thorough understanding of digital media and marketing landscape including video, mobile, social, display, programmatic, and content marketing
  • Comfortable using data to deliver insights to drive both programs and pitch opportunities
  • Experience with CRM management and developing agency/sales relationships
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to express your ideas through a presentation deck / Powerpoint
  • Strong organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Must have great interpersonal skills, team builder and team player; an ability to relate professionally within all levels of the organization
  • Creative thinking and proven problem solving skills
